Dear Diary

I had my chest pain bad again last night,I will call it heart pain, cos that's where it is, like behind the heart, but a bit lower down. It was pretty bad when I went to bed but I was fine this morning, as the day has gone on it's got worse again. Anyhow, I think I know what it is. A few years back I had pleurisy, in my right lung, and this feels exactly the same, awful pain when breathing in and out. It's definately not strained muscles, and there is no tenderness when I exert, or lift, it's simply when I breathe in and out, and it clicked this afternoon that I recognised it. Considering I had the flu the week before last and have been coughing on and off since, it all fits in to place. I don't know what the treatment is for pleurisy, I think first thing is antibiotics, which I hate, but after a bit of research it seems they don't always do the trick, and with a bit of looking after myself it should clear up in time. It would be my absolute, absolute nightmare to go in to hospital right now, with all the sick bugs and things that are flying round, in fact I know I just wouldn't go, unless it was a matter of life or death. So for now I'll take it easy, take some ant inflammatories and hope it eases soon. Oh my God, what a mare!
