I don't know how -- Then make the effort to learn.
It's too hard -- Anything worth having, or doing, or being, requires effort.
It will take too long -- Then that's all the more reason to get started right away.
What will people think -- That's their problem. Let them think what they will. It doesn't matter.
I'll do it as soon as I get back on my feet -- Taking positive action toward your goals is precisely what will GET you back on your feet.
I might fail -- Yes, when you try you might fail. However, if you don't try, then you'll certainly fail.
I'm too busy -- What are you accomplishing with all that busy-ness? Simply being "busy" gets you nowhere. Stop being busy, evaluate your priorities, and start taking focused, directed action.
I don't know where to start -- Envision the ultimate goal, and work backwards, step by step, until you arrive at something that can be done right now. Then do it. "The journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step." Take that step, and then the next one. Repeat until done.
I have too many obligations -- In order to be of service to others, you must first be true to your own purpose in life. Your obligation to yourself is what enables you to fulfill your obligations to others.
These things never work out -- That is correct. "Things" never do work out. You must work them out. The various situations you encounter provide you with opportunities, not sure bets. You must recognize those opportunities and do the work necessary to take advantage of them.
You deserve the best from yourself -- no excuses. Spend your energy taking action, rather than thinking up excuses.
I did another 45 mins walking, jogging today. Feels good although weight is staying the same. I start my weight training tomoz, or maybe the next day, I pulled a few muscles putting the damn thing together, well, I pulled a few muscles helping Keith put the damn thing together, well, I pulled a few muscles tripping over the bar thing that Keith left lying in the middle of the floor, same difference.
I'm still working, finished 100 minutes typing, only 150 minutes to do by tomorrow night. I've slacked today, aimlessly moping aournd the place being a twat and annoying people. Do you ever find that some days you just annoy people, for no reason? Everything you say just winds people up, I've tried to be funny but I've just had recations of dirty looks, and oh my God, what have I married and oh dear, you can choose your friends but you can't choose your mother etc etc.
I have got the bed all to meself tonight, if I ever get there, hubby is on nights in Londominium, ergh. I am a little fraid tho, don't like this house at night, starnge noises, lights have come on and gone off, stereo and TV have come on by themselves, and tonight, the only one night of the week I am alone, I have had to go through that awful 60 minutes and 2 seconds of trying to remove a giant humungous wolf spider from the house. 10 minutes to follow it until it stops, 2 seconds to run and get pint glass, 10 minutes to pluck up courage to place over the top, 10 minutes looking for a peice of card that is not too flexible, usually end up destroying cereal box, 20 minutes easing it under glass, 5 minutes to actually pluck up courage to spin it over so that spider is in the bottom of the glass, and a final 10 minutes chucking it out the front. Did a bad thing though, lost the belt of my dressing gown, as I threw the spider out my gown flew open displaying me in all my glory. I'm hoping the neighbours did not spot this event, but they may have done due to the disaproving noises I was making during the actual chucking spider event.
night all xx
