23 May 2006 - 39 DAYS and just angry at everything!

I'd try anything to get rid of these fag cravings, even if it's placebo it's better than anything the NHS could offer, which is a six month waiting list for a quit smoking support group at the surgery!

The NHS doesn't even deserve to be called a service, if it were a supermarket it would have been closed down and demolished years ago. I hear one good story out of ten horror stories, including how my mum was left in a casualty ward form 12 am to 5 am with abusive drunks 3 hours after having her breast removed, terrified and alone, then being left with horrific burns on her chest due to the radiotherapy nurse forgetting to give her a cream to prevent burns, the surgeon syringing her wounds with a needle and a kidney bowl, and NO gloves, witnessed by me, how they have messed up my husbands knee operation, and denied it was anything they did, and all because the funding is going on alternative therapies, I don't think I have ever come across anybody who has had alternative therapy funded by the NHS in my life, just another pass the buck me thinks ... I will think about the positive NHS story and return to post when it comes back to me
