I'm currently having a dispute with someone I bought something from on Ebay. I bought what was meant to be the real MacDonald and KFC recipes. When I bought them, 99p, they were emailed through but half the recipes I coudln't understand, and the majority of the stuff you can only buy in the USA. The following is how the debate is continuing ... I think I'm in the right?
...........................................................................................................................
Hi, I'm not at all happy with being fiddled out of money, you should have stated that these recipes were for the USA, the following ingredients you can't get in the UK, especially MSG's. There isn't one recipe that I can get all the ingredients for, and the pizza hut, all recipes below, would be grateful if you would explain that?
The KFC Original Fried Chicken recipe is written in such a way that there are three of us here that can't figure it out!
I'm not happy and would like a refund, your advert is false advertising, these recipes cannot be made, especially not in the UK, and they don't make sense anyhow!
Lynn
Can't get these inrgedients in the UK!

Hi,
Sorry you feel out of pocket,
I believe the recipes are genuine, although the ingredients are indeed mostly available in the states (Which is where Mcdonalds originate from) but similar ingredients are available in the UK. As for the Pizza hut recipes, I've only included them because I worked in Pizza hut a few years ago & have seen those formulas on the walls of the kitchen, all's I can tell you is the numbers and letters refer to specific ingredients and the amount of which you apply to your pizzas. Sorry but I am unable to remember exactly which ingredients they refer to, but if you can crack the code you'll be able to figure out which ingredients you need to make not only the dough but the toppings too !!.
I am willing to refund your 99p after i recieve non-negative feedback from you. I suggest if your are so pessamistic about such items you should reconsider before bidding on them.
I was not pessamistic, after reading your feedback I was very excited about receiving the recipes, just gutted that I can't make any of the recipes because I can't get the ingredients!
Lynn
They'll not cost you a penny, although I disagree that there are not similar ingredients available over here. I'll refund you as soon as non-negative feedabcks recieved.
well to continue the argument, if I have to buy 'similar' ingredients over here, then it will not in fact be the correct recipes, it will just be makeshift recipes, which is what I am already doing, with 'simialar' ingredients.
I just think you should state words to this effect on the ad!
I will not be bribed in to getting a refund for a misleading sale, whether it be 99p or £99
Lynn
I am not trying to bribe you, my feedback is important, but if you are unwilling to compromise then you will be 99p out of pocket for something that I believe is advertised perfectly honestly, but you disagree !
And to unprovoke an argument ,.. egg mayonaise can be made in the uk that tastes exactly the same as american Egg Mayo, but using different ingredients.
well done for scrutinising the recipes and managing to find one item that can be substituted, hats off to you.
Lynn
wich is mayo I guess ? .. you seem sarcastic. i am not willing to sit here debating this. i have sold the recipes to at least 400 people all of which have been satisfied, although I have been prepared for the negative people i was due to deal with, positive feedback has been left before reciept on a faithful basis, 1 more negative in 3 yrs of trading (equalling 2 altogether) isn't such bad going if you ask me
Hello John
Maybe the reason you have so many positive feedbacks is because you only offer them a refund if they leave a positive?
I am willing to leave a positive if you refund me first. I can then say, honestly, that you are an honest seller in my feedback. Your call!
regards
Lynn
I will refund you within the next 10 minutes, again I'm sorry you feel that I have tried to con you. As for your accusation that I somehow force people into leaving positive feedback, I can only assure you that this was the first time I have ever found myself in that situation, your 99p will be with you shortly.
And refunded it was, now I feel really guilty. Have left him positive feedback though. Well at least it kept my mind off the fags eh!
