OH bugger, bugger bugger bugger, we did oversleep again this morning. What is it with all this oversleeping, I never ever oversleep. Must be because I'm now working 8/9 hour shifts, my body just does not wake up, even my ears go to sleep, 3 alarms we set, yes 3, after the last oversleep, all full blast volume, and I didn't hear a single one. Keith is supposed to collect 2 workmates via going to work, so he was absolutely frantic, 10 past 7 we woke up, he should have collected them at 7, and they live 40 mins away, on the way to London. He was running around all over the place. I'll be in trouble now, I know it's not totally my fault, but he'll still blame me for not waking up. He has to start taking some responsibility now though, I am not superwoman, I am so tired after work, getting up at 5am is not as easy as it was. He didn't even kiss me goodbye, he should always kiss me goodbye. :o( I'm a terrible wife.
I then put jack's PE kit in the tumble to dry, which I was supposed to do at 6, so it had time to dry, instead it only had 10 mins, and on top of that my washing machine is knackered, instead of coming out well spun it's sopping wet. So he has gone to school PE Kitless, what could I do? That'll mean a bad comment in his planner by miserable Mr Moore, the PE teacher from hell. I'm a terrible mother ;o(
I still have a stinky cold, but since it 'broke' in the form of sneezing, coughing and streaming nose I actually feel much better in myself. All I have to do now is make sure I start eating. I weighed in at 10st exactly this morning, that's a 12lb weightloss in, ummmm, when did I start at Sains? Feels like I've been there forever, about a month. So I might write a book called 'the Sainsbury's don't bother getting someone to cover for me for my 8 hour shift so I can go eat diet'. I don't know how I am keeping going on what I am eating, this is the absolute truth, I kid you not, this has been my diet this week: Monday - 1 weetabix and cups o tea, Tues - cheese roll and tea, Wed - a wee meal of enchiladas thingy, it was horrible (try something new at sainsbury's idea, don't bother, twas gross. Yesterday - 2 weetabix and 2 bits of toast and that's it, no wonder I'm ill. I am going to get some fruit in, and maybe some Complan or Build Up, I need to get my metabolism working, I am having big trouble eating, my appetite has disappeared, I am hoping I will adjust soon cos I hate not being able to eat. I know I wanted to lose weight, but not like this. I have a snack in the morning, go off and do my shift and when I get home I'm too tired to eat, I go straight to sleep. We sometimes manage to get a 15 minute break, but by the time you have chosen something to eat, waded through the hoards of customers and shown about 15 people where things are in the store (we have to physically take them, we are not allowed to point in the direction) and queued up to pay for lunch, 15 minutes is well and truly over. Tis impossible.
Jack and Keith watched a new series last night called Danger Men, anyone see it? Apparently it was about the pilots of the Red Arrows, they said it was excellent, and next week is about deep sea divers or something. Sounds quite good, so will have to make sure I record it next week.
Have I ranted enough yet? I have much more to say, I feel like I could write a book this morning. I'm so knackered. I am going to watch telly for a while, snuggle up with hot water bottle and some Ibuprofen, I have a nice easy 4 hour shift this evening, 3 - 7, so not too taxing. I am going to quietly sit and watch Animal Rescue and contemplate a work life balance.
Glad you like my pic, hat and all, no matter how hard I try I just can't look 'cool' in it.

Lynbo, you should not take to Complan, you do not need it. You have to make yourself have a meal, even if you are tired. It is natural for you to loose your appetite because your day has changed so much. You will settle down and work out how to get your food.
And just how could anyone call you a bad mother or terrible wife? Of course you are not and as for eating you need to plan your day out to ensure that you have time to eat regularly, I have always found that cheese and biscuits fill a hole nicely.
