17 May 2006 - 33 DAYS

Well I took the fish over to the tip, I couldn't sit and smell them all morning, made my stomach turn, and I do not do the gutting thing, keith woke up, clambered down the stairs in his usual just woken up, what day is it, manner, where's the fish?? Oohh they swam down the plug hole!

Didn't have a minute to spare yesterday, I typed 400 minutes over the weekend, 88 on Monday, 45 mins plus all the housework yesterday, 90 minutes today and 130 for tomorrow, I don't think I have ever done so much typing. I've just worked out that through my work alone (not including AOL IM's) This year I have typed approx 841,400 words, which is 117,800 lines, crikey!

My ring has just arrived, I won't open it until Keith gets up later, seeing as it's his gift to me it's only fair he should give it to me, EXCITED

Went to bed last night and had a mumbled dsicussion with Keith about how well I'm doing with my quit, then it struck me that yesterday was the first day I didn't actually think about them, not once did I fancy one. My two previous quits I faltered at aorund the two month point, so I'm ready and prepared! I think it's a typical case of oh I've quit for a couple of months, one won't hurt! I know better this time.

I'm not dressed, being lazy, just stuck my Allen Carr's Easy Way To Stop Smoking on Ebay, can't say that he helped all that much, a great book, but most of my inspiration was / is Kirsty.

My mate Carole is visiting in a sec, we've been friends since we were 4 or 5, it's a shame that we just don't seem to find time to spend doing stuff we should be doing, like shopping, lunch out etc, but needs must I guess, famailies, work, still we have our memories, hundreds of special moments we shared together as kids, and many more we will share in the old folk's home in the not too distant future ... allready looking to book my place!

Well this won't do, get dressed, kettle on,and on with my work, don't want a cig, love smelling nice, feel better, and still only weight 9st 13 this morning, but I'm flipping staaaaarving ...

get my teeth fitted on Tues, excited, glad my toothache has gone, all going ok for now.
